What is predictive maintenance? Prescriptive maintenance? What are the benefits of both?
Predictive maintenance (PdM) is the maintenance of an asset that monitors equipment condition, performance metrics and other elements to determine how likely it is that a failure could occur, as opposed to a calendar-based approach.
