4Sight Operational Technologies and Calcamite Named Finalist for the AVEVA Sustainable Impact Award 2026

We are incredibly proud to share that 4Sight Operational Technologies, in collaboration with Calcamite, has been selected as a finalist for the AVEVA Sustainable Impact Award 2026. Being recognised by AVEVA on a global platform is a meaningful milestone for our teams and a strong validation of the real-world impact digital transformation can have on sustainability—particularly in water-scarce regions.

As part of this recognition, Sebasti Badenhorst, Chief Operations Officer at Calcamite, and Wilhelm Swart, Chief OT Officer at 4Sigh  will co-present at AVEVA World 2026 in Milan. Our session, titled “From Effluent to Efficiency: Digital Tools for Sustainable Water,” will showcase how AVEVA solutions are being used to address some of Africa’s most pressing water challenges

Across the continent, industries face increasing pressure to manage water responsibly while operating in remote locations with limited infrastructure and tight cost constraints. In our presentation, we will demonstrate how cost-effective digital monitoring, data integration, and analytics enable sustainable water and effluent management, particularly in remote, modular treatment plants. By combining operational technology, cloud-based platforms, and real-time visibility, organisations can move from reactive compliance to proactive, optimised water stewardship.
