The Electric Mine 2023 event

We are thrilled to be attending The Electric Mine 2023 conference, to be held from May 23-25, 2023, at the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson, Arizona, USA. Our Operational Technology (OT) cluster will be represented at this world-class event, where we can connect with industry leaders, experts and thought leaders from across the globe and gain insights on the latest developments in this field.
4Sight's Asset Simulation team has been selected as one of the two South African companies to run simulation projects for the Electric Mine Consortium's Simulation programe. The consortium comprises seven leading mining companies committed to achieving a fully electrified, zero-carbon, and zero-particulate mine. Our team has extensive experience in using simulation tools to help mines optimise processes, work smarter in line with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) imperatives, and plan the implementation of cutting-edge technologies. This experience was recognised by the consortium when they selected 4Sight's Asset Simulation as one of the five teams chosen to take the process forward.
The conference will feature keynote speakers from prominent companies in the mining industry, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Sandvik, and Epiroc. Our Simulation team will have the opportunity to showcase their expertise in simulation technology and learn from others who are driving the move towards electrification in mining.
The conference is expected to draw attendees from all the world’s mining hotspots, including Canada, Australia, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Indonesia, and South Africa, amongst others.
